NAUGATUCK – A car crash in front of Naugatuck High School knocked out power for many in the area, police confirmed Wednesday.
A police dispatcher said a car hit a utility pole about 1:07 a.m., knocking out power throughout the town.
Police said power was restored at various times throughout the morning, with the high school getting its power back about 5:30 a.m.
Police released no information on the cause of the crash or if anyone was injured.
