NAUGATUCK — Republican mayoral candidate Tamath Rossi is hosting a town hall meeting Sept. 9.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be held at Town Hall, 229 Church St.

Rossi, who is currently deputy mayor, is running for mayor in a three-way Republican primary against Republican Town Committee endorsed candidate Seth Bronko and Burgess Alex Olbrys. The primary is Sept. 16.

“Over the last few weeks I’ve spent a lot of time rolling out my plan for Naugatuck, talking with voters about how we can work together to grow our local economy with community solutions rather than out-of-date government gimmicks,” said Rossi in a press release. “Part of my plan is to open the lines of communication with our residents, businesses and the community we serve, that’s why I’m hosting a town hall meeting.”
