Committee hosting ice cream social
BEACON FALLS — The Beacon Falls Republican Town Committee is hosting an ice cream social on Saturday for residents to meet the 2013 Republican slate of candidates for municipal office.
The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Volunteer Park located behind the Beacon Falls firehouse, 35 North Main St. All Beacon Falls residents are welcome to attend.

NAUGATUCK — Residents can meet Republican burgess candidate Alex Olbrys during a meet and week Sept. 18.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Tequila Grill on Church Street.
