Burgess candidate holding meet and greet
NAUGATUCK — A meet and greet with Republican burgess candidate Alex Olbrys will be held Oct. 20. The event, which will include a continental breakfast, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Balanced Body, 223 Meadow St. The suggested donation is $25.
GOP opening headquarters
PROSPECT — There will be a grand opening Friday evening of the Republican headquarters.
The event will run from 5-7:30 p.m. on Waterbury Road, between Spill the Beans and the Webster Bank branch. It is open to the public, and includes free pizza, beverages and salad. Residents can attend to meet the candidates.
Mezzo campaign holding meet and eat
NAUGATUCK — The campaign of Democrat Mayor Robert Mezzo will host a meet and eat Oct. 22.
The event will be held at 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Giuseppe’s Pizzeria, 1183 New Haven Road. The event is free and open to the public, and complimentary pizza and refreshments will be served.
