ProspectPolicePROSPECT — Police are investigating a burglary at Margot’s Flowers and a report of two T-shirts being stolen from Dunkin’ Donuts.

Both incidents occurred June 22.

At about 1 a.m. Troop I in Bethany received an alarm from Margot’s Flowers, 34 Waterbury Road, state police said in a release. Troopers responded and found that the store had been burglarized, police said. No other details were given.

According to a release issued by police, on June 22, the store manager of the Dunkin’ Donuts at 19 Waterbury Road told police that he conducted a daily inventory of store merchandise and found two shirts missing from a display rack in the store’s front lobby.

Surveillance video showed that at about 3:44 p.m. a white woman entered the store with three children, ordered two coffees for a total of $6.13 and paid cash. As she walked out of the store, she grabbed two T-shirts from the display shelf and left without paying for them, police said.

Each shirt is valued at $15, police said.
