BEACON FALLS — The Economic Development Commission will be producing a brochure featuring the towns numerous recreational assets.

“We have a clean and beautiful river, we have the Naugatuck State Forest, Toby’s Pond,” EDC Vice Chair Jack Betkoski said. “We can be a destination for kayakers, anglers, hikers — anyone who wants to enjoy the great outdoors.”

The brochure will be paid for through private and business donation and will be distributed statewide. The commission is seeking local merchants to advertise in the brochure.

“Our plan is to showcase Beacon Falls as a hidden gem for outdoor enthusiasts, and maybe they can drop in to one of our local businesses while they’re here,” said EDC commissioner Jeremy Rodorigo, who is developing the brochure.

Any business interested in advertising in the brochure can e-mail Rodorigo at jrodphoto@comcast.net.
