NAUGATUCK — Police charged a 62-year-old Naugatuck man Tuesday with sexually assaulting a minor.
Daniel Hartshorn, of 157 Beacon Manor Circle, was charged with second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a child and fourth-degree sexual assault after police say he inappropriately touched a female juvenile who was Hartshorn’s acquaintance. Police received the complaint in July and arrested Hartshorn by warrant after an investigation.
He was released on a court set $150,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 17.
