SHELTON — A 21-year-old Naugatuck man was killed in a one-car accident Sunday in Shelton, police said.
Shelton police, fire and EMS personnel responded to the scene of the accident in the area of Howe Avenue and Housatonic Rise at about 12:30 a.m., police said. The initial investigation revealed that Alexandre Grosso of Naugatuck was traveling north on Howe Avenue and stuck a tree and utility pole, police said. Grosso was the sole occupant of the car and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
