WATERBURY — The final suspect wanted in connection with the vandalism at Old St. Joseph’s Cemetery earlier this month turned himself in Wednesday night, police said.

Gary Hall, age 23, of Naugatuck, was charged with first-degree criminal mischief and interference with a cemetery or burial ground.

Hall was held overnight on $75,000 bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court Thursday morning.

Police said Hall and five others intentionally desecrated the graves of 250 people at the cemetery, knocking over and damaging more than 200 headstones and causing more than $100,000 in damage.
