Borough looking for help to clean up Naugatuck

NAUGATUCK — In celebration of Earth Day, the borough is running its 12th annual Community Clean-Up for the month of April.

The borough will provide trash bags and gloves. A list of sites that need cleaning is also available or groups can choose a location.

Naugatuck residents can sign up for the community clean-up at the Public Works and Recycling Office, 246 Rubber Ave., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., via e-mail at Publicworks@naugatuck-ct.gov or by calling (203) 720-7071.

Naugatuck’s Earth Day Community Clean-Up was organized by Mayor Bob Mezzo, the Mayor’s Office and the Public Works and Recycling Department.
