BEACON FALLS – Residents can attend a town meeting Monday on a proposed bond package that will then be adjourned to a referendum later this month.

The town meeting is set for 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 10 Maple Ave. There will be time for discussion, but the matter will be adjourned to referendum from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 15 at Laurel Ledge School, 30 Highland Ave.

At the referendum, residents will vote on whether to pay for the following items through bonding – about $5.1 million for various road and related sanitary sewer main improvements, and if determined by the Board of Selectmen, to buy a Benedetti recycled hot emulsified asphalt treatment equipment; $125,000 for various fuel and heating oil storage facility improvements; and $1 million for wastewater treatment plant improvements.
