BEACON FALLS — The town will distribute sand to residents on Friday.
Weather permitting, sand will be distributed beginning at 7 a.m. Residents who want sand can place no more than two, 5-gallon containers curbside and clearly mark them sand. There will be no callbacks for containers put out late.
The town advised residents that sand can’t be picked up during storms at the public works garage due to safety concerns and no trucks are allowed for sand pickup.
