Beacon Falls holding voter-making sessions

BEACON FALLS — The Beacon Falls Registrars of Voters are holding special voter-making sessions Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The sessions will be held in the registrars’ office in Town Hall.

Registration is open to anyone 18 years old and a resident of Beacon Falls. Anyone who is 17 can register but their application will not be effective until their 18th birthday.

Residents already registered can change their party affiliation during the sessions. Identification is required to register.

Mail-in registration cards are available at the town clerk’s office, the library, and registrars’ office. Mail-in registration must be postmarked by Oct. 25. In-person registration must be done by Nov. 1.

Anyone who becomes eligible to vote after Nov. 1 may register during a limited session on Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the registrars’ office.
