PROSPECT — Author James McGrath II, of Prospect, recently released his book, “A Pictorial View of the Faroe Islands.”
The book is a pictorial description of towns in the Faroe Islands, a group of 18 islands located midway between Iceland, Norway, and Scotland. The book captures vistas from around the country with descriptive captions. This also contains facts regarding early Norse and Celtic settlement on the Faroe Islands.
McGrath, who is fluent in the Faroese language, has traveled the islands numerous times. He is a graduate of Post University and spent a semester at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
