NAUGATUCK — CT Triumph, a Naugatuck-based adult kickball league, is getting ready to start the season and is looking for players.
The league is part of the World Adult Kickball Association and plays an eight-game regular season with games on Thursday nights.

This season, which starts April 25, games will be played at Hop Brook School field at 75 Crown St.

The teams play an elimination playoff tournament following the season to receive an invitation to play in WAKA’s National Founders Cup Tournament in Las Vegas on Columbus Day weekend.

The league is open to players 21 years old and older from Naugatuck and the surrounding area. Two free open games for anyone interested in joining the league will be played Thursday and April 18 at 7 p.m. at Hop Brook School.

The registration fee for the league is $68, which covers the cost of shirts and a mid-season and end of the season party. The league also selects a charity to raise money for each year. This year the league is raising money for KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) New York, a nonprofit organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers.
