NAUGATUCK— Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are running their annual Scouting for Food drive.
Scouts from Boy Scout troops 138, 115 and 102 and Cub Scout Pack 109 distributed about 4,300 bags throughout Naugatuck last Saturday. Residents are asked to place donations of non-perishable food items in the bags for the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank.
Residents can leave the bags outside their homes by 9 a.m. this Saturday for pickup. People who didn’t get a bag and want to donate non-perishable food items can drop them off at the food bank, 75 Spring St., on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
