Library featuring photography exhibit

NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library is featuring the photography of Gary Spring this month in an exhibit titled “Naugatuck & Nearby.”

The exhibit focuses on the Naugatuck River Valley area and includes a selection of images featuring architecture and building interiors, waterways and water scenes, and the surrounding countryside and scenic landscapes with a focus on the natural world.

Spring is a member of the International Travel Writers and Photographers Alliance. He once served as a senior instructor for the Ritz Camera University of Photographic Education and as house photographer for the Brookfield Theatre for the Arts as well as the Sherman Playhouse.
