BEACON FALLS — The Beacon Falls Historical Society is selling commemorative bricks to mark the town’s 150th anniversary.

The 150th anniversary is June 30, 2021. The funds raised from selling bricks will offset the cost of other events, which are in the planning stages, to celebrate the anniversary.

The donation for a 4-inch-by-8-inch brick is $100. There is an additional $25 donation for clip art. For information or to buy a brick, visit www.4everbricks.com/donors/BeaconFalls.

Local officials plan to incorporate the bricks into the new site of the Rimmon Schoolhouse. Officials plan to move the historic schoolhouse from Pinesbridge Road to land adjacent to the intersection of North Main Street and Church Street.

The historical society will also be selling commemorative golf ball marker-poker chip coins, to benefit the society and its programs.
