Library announces September exhibit

PROSPECT — The Prospect Public Library will feature the artwork of painter Judy LaMadeleine during September.

LaMadeleine grew up in Prospect, before moving to California when she was 21 years old. She took her first art class at the local library. Over the years, LaMadeleine, who has moved back to Prospect, has painted with many mediums, but her favorites are watercolors and oils. Her favorite subjects to paint are landscapes and flowers.

LaMadeleine’s exhibit, entitled “From Connecticut to California and Back Again,” can be viewed during normal hours at the library, 17 Center St. For information, call 203-758-3001.
