Library announces June exhibit

PROSPECT — The Prospect Public Library will exhibit the work of pastel artist Paul Robitaille in June.

Robitaille, who is originally from the Boston area, studied at the Art Institute of Boston and with master portrait artist Daniel Greene, a news release stated. Robitaille paints portraits of people, pets and wildlife, and works strictly with pastels and charcoals. He has received several awards for his work, including awards from the Boston Globe, the Watertown Art League and the Trumbull Art League.

A portion of the sales from the show will be donated to the library. The exhibit will be on display at the library, 17 Center St., during normal business hours. For information, call 203-758-3001.
