NAUGATUCK — Police are looking for a 24-year-old woman accused of stealing more than $56,000 from a victim’s business bank account last year.

Police believe Stephanie Amber Metevier was involved in a burglary that gave her access to the victim’s financial information, which she and two accomplices then used to steal the money between September and December of last year.

Naugatuck police have obtained a warrant charging Metevier with first-degree larceny, first-degree identity theft, third-degree forgery and third-degree burglary. Two other woman, Rachel Groll of Naugatuck and Tina Seckington of Bristol, have already been charged in connection with the investigation. Metevier is the final person suspected in connection with the case, police said.

Metevier’s last known address was on Shepherd Street in Hamden or the Milford area, according to police.

Police asked anyone with information to contact the Naugatuck Police Department at 203-729-5221 or the department’s confidential tip line at 203-720-1010.
