NAUGATUCK — Robin Ann Fogarty passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday, March 10, 2019. Robin was born in Waterbury, on Dec. 13, 1955, the daughter of Lorraine (Wisinski) Fogarty and the late Edward Fogarty.
Robin was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and volunteered as a candy striper with the dreams of becoming a nurse. She attended Naugatuck Community College and later graduated from the nursing program at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, N.H. She then worked at Waterbury Hospital, followed by many years of in home care.
Robin had many close friends and spent many years taking ski trips to Vermont and summer vacations to Cape Cod.
Robin leaves her mother of Naugatuck; her brother, Kevin and wife, Peggy, of Waterbury; niece, Lauren and husband, Gary, of West Hartford; nephew, Sean and wife, Emily, of Waterbury; niece, Erin of Essex; niece, Meghan of Watertown; her Uncle Frank and Aunt Joann Wisinski of Portsmouth, N.H. She was predeceased by her father, Ed, in December 2018.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck.
