Borough schools hosting music festival

NAUGATUCK — The 38th annual Borough Music Festival sponsored by the Naugatuck Public Schools music department is Tuesday night.

The festival, which features over 250 Naugatuck students from grades four through 12, begins at 7 p.m. at Naugatuck High School, 543 Rubber Ave. This year’s concert features instrumental students performing selections from a variety of composers and genres.

William Davis, a Naugatuck native who was the choral director and music coordinator at Naugatuck High School from 1973 to 2001, is this year’s guest conductor.
