Police seek to ID shoplifter

NAUGATUCK — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man that stole items from a liquor store on Rubber Avenue.

Police said the shoplifting incident occurred on Nov. 23 at about 6:20 p.m. at Cork and Keg Wine & Liquor at 430 Rubber Ave.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic man about 18 to 25 years old. The man is about 6 feet tall and weighs roughly 180 to 200 pounds, police said. He was wearing a gray hoodie, black jeans and black sneakers.

The suspect was seen coming and going toward the Aetna Street area, police said.
