PROSPECT — The Prospect Historical Society is organizing a special display of the historical antique quilts of the Hotchkiss House Museum.

The quilts will be displayed on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Prospect Congregational Church, 25 Center St.

The quilts for the display have been in the Hotchkiss family for over three generations, from 1870 to the 1940s. The age and quilt-patterns will be noted for each quilt. The Hotchkiss House Museum has about 20 quilts, which will be spread open on the sanctuary pews so that they may be examined up close.

There is no admission charge.  For more information, call Blanche at 860-274-6732.
