THOMASTON — Christopher Mailhot, 55, husband of Tammy (Olander) Mailhot, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born in Waterbury on May 16, 1963, son of Winifred (Bulman) Mailhot of Waterbury and the late Paul J. Mailhot. Chris lived in Thomaston for the past eight years and was working at Platt Brothers & Co. He enjoyed hiking, the beach and motorcycle riding. He was actively involved in Alcoholics Anonymous and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.

Besides his loving wife Tammy and his mother, he leaves his children, Christopher Mailhot, Jr. and Stephanie Brayall, both of Terryville, Preston Ross and Stasia Ross, both of Thomaston; his brothers, Paul Mailhot of East Haven and Joseph Mailhot and his wife, Marianne, of Waterbury; his granddaughter, Hailie Solla; and several nieces and nephews. Chris was predeceased by his daughter, Mallory Mailhot; and his brother, Michael D. Mailhot.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St., Thomaston. Those attending are asked to please meet at the church at 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck.
