NAUGATUCK — Police seized drugs and arrested a Waterbury man on Wednesday as part of an investigation into street-level drug dealing in North Main Street area.
During the investigation, which began in recent months, police developed information that drugs were being sold out of a third-floor apartment on North Main Street, a press release stated.
With the help of Waterbury police, officers executed a search-and-seizure warrant at the apartment during the early morning hours on Wednesday. Police seized heroin and marijuana from the apartment, the release stated.
Police found Isaiah N. Thomas, 30, of 41 Holmes Ave., Waterbury, on the premises and charged him with sale of drugs and possession of controlled substance. He was held on bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court Thursday.
