NAUGATUCK — Christ the King Church is heading up a community project to replace the gazebo on the Green.
The project, called “Gazebo on the Green in 2019,” is a fundraiser to buy and install a new gazebo by Memorial Day weekend next year. The goal is to raise $20,000. All of the money raised will be spent on the project, which will include beautifying the immediate area around the gazebo with a variety of flowers, shrubs and plants.
Donations for the project can be made by sending a check made out to “Christ the King Church” with “Gazebo 2019” in the memo area to Christ the King Church, P.O. Box 68, Naugatuck, CT 06770. A bank account has been established at Liberty Bank under the name “Gazebo on the Green in 2019.”
