Swinik, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Gaylord Hospital of Wallingford. She was born in Derby on June 4, 1942, daughter of the late Peter J. and Emily (Tyburski) Cintorino.

Jeri grew up in Shelton and graduated from Shelton High School, Class of 1960. She met and married her husband Joseph and they settled and raised their family in Seymour. Jeri ran the daily operations and served as manager of The Strand Theater which was a job she held very close to her heart. Jeri was an avid bowler and enjoyed her trips to the casino. She was a great cook, who loved to cook for her family and friends. Jeri took great pride in her flower gardens, she especially loved her sunflowers. Jeri was an outgoing, very people friendly person she made friends just about anywhere she went. Family was her life, especially her four grandchildren who she loved to spend time with. She will be sadly missed by all but will remain forever in our hearts.

The family would like to thank the staff at Griffin Hospital, the ICU staff and her favorite very loving and caring nurse, Ashley D’Agostino. They would also like to thank the staff at Gaylord Hospital, especially her compassionate nurses, Rachael Banbeault and Jamie Dobkins, for the exceptional care that she received.
