PROSPECT — The Prospect Library will feature the paintings of Judith LaMadeleine this month.

LaMadeleine grew up in Prospect and moved to California after getting married when she was 21 years old, a press release stated. Once her children were all in high school, she started taking art class at a local library in California.

In January 2016, LaMadeleine moved back to Prospect and she currently takes classes at the Prospect Senior Center in acrylics and in watercolors. She has painted with many mediums. Her favorite mediums are watercolors and oils, and her favorite subjects to paint are landscapes and flowers, the release stated.

The exhibit can be viewed at the library, 17 Center St., during normal business hours. For more information, call 203-758-3001.
