Yale School of Medicine

NEW HAVEN — Sarah Rocks of Beacon Falls graduated with honors from the Yale School of Medicine physician associate program on Dec. 11 at Woolsey Hall.

Since her graduation she has passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) and has accepted a position at Yale New Haven Hospital as an orthopedic PA-C. She is a graduate of Woodland Regional High School, Class of 2010, and Northeastern University, Class of 2015, with a bachelor’s degree in health science.

WEST HAVEN — Local students received degrees from the University of New Haven at commencement ceremonies in December.

Kelly Diurno, of Beacon Falls, earned a Master of Science in healthcare administration. Emily Datcher, of Naugatuck, earned a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice with a concentration in juvenile and family justice Stephen Pollard, of Naugatuck, earned a Bachelor of Science in national security studies. Richard Uva, of Naugatuck, earned a Bachelor of Science in national security studies. Kaitlyn Frenette, of Prospect, earned a Master of Science in healthcare administration. Galen Lowell, of Prospect, earned a Master of Science in national security.

University of New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. — Emily Matott of Prospect graduated from the University of New Hampshire in December 2017 with a MS degree in occupational therapy.

Western New England University

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Lindsay Allison of Naugatuck graduated from Western New England University with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences on Feb. 15.
