NAUGATUCK —Naugatuck Public Schools is holding kindergarten registration in March.
Children must turn 5 years old on or before Jan. 1, 2019 to be eligible for kindergarten for the 2018-19 school year. Forms for kindergarten registration are available at all Naugatuck elementary schools. Parents should call the elementary school that their child will attend and arrange to pick up the forms. At that time, an appointment will also be made for the week of March 5 for parents to return completed forms.
Parents must present their child’s birth certificate along with proof of immunization. A completed physical conducted on Aug. 31, 2017, or later, will be acceptable. Parents must also provide proof of residency. The guardian of any child attending public schools within the district must also provide proof of guardianship.
