NAUGATUCK — Phillip Errol Green, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018. He was the husband of Vinaldo “Sissy” Green.

Phillip was born Dec. 30, 1958 in Dade City, Fla., the son of the late Mary Green.

He was employed at Greer Manufacturing in Prospect prior to his death. He was previously employed by the Ethan Allen, Danbury New Times, the United Jewish Center as well as Fuel Cell Energy. He enjoyed music especially playing his guitar.

Besides his wife of 26 years, Phillip is survived by his daughters, Sabrina Green, Safonya Ray, Laticia Henderson, Ketura Henderson; his grandchildren, Najah Ray, Yhameek Johnson, Nya Ray, Daryl Ray Jr. and Anari Pratt; as well as many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018 at the United Methodist Church of Naugatuck, 208 Meadow St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family, and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
