Carol A. (Dudonis) Bolton

NAUGATUCK — Carol A. (Dudonis) Bolton, 72, beloved wife of Kenneth Bolton, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.

Carol was born in Waterbury on Nov. 22, 1945, daughter of the late Charles and Blanche (Bekerowski) Dudonis. She was a graduate of Kaynor Technical School in Waterbury and was a longtime Naugatuck resident. Carol retired from Uniroyal, Inc., and Bendix Corporation in Cheshire. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, and one of her passions was driving her classic 1969 Firebird.

Besides her husband Ken, she is survived by her son, Kevin Bolton of Gilbert Ariz.; her daughter, Pamela Tavares and her husband, Manny, of Naugatuck; her four grandchildren, Emily Bolton, David and Mathew Tavares, and Kyle Bolton; her great-grandson, Kaiden; her brothers, John Dudonis and his wife, Sherrie, and Paul Dudonis, all of Thomaston; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
