NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck YMCA partnered with the YMCA of the USA and JCPenny this summer for back to school supplies.
For each pair of socks or underwear sold, JCPenny donated a complimentary pack of socks and underwear to the Y. The Naugatuck YMCA received 1,080 pairs of underwear and 3,240 pairs of socks, a press release stated.
The Naugatuck YMCA received the donations in November. Families from Naugatuck and Beacon Falls can come to the YMCA, 284 Church St., between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pick up their supplies. For more information, call 203-729-9622.
