NAUGATUCK — Police are investigating an assault alleged to have occurred on the Route 8 northbound Exit 27 on-ramp Monday afternoon.
Shortly before 4 p.m., two people in separate vehicles appeared to get into a scuffle, based on report from state police.
One of the people was on scene when police arrived. The person suffered minor injuries and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, police said.
State police said the two people involved were 26-year-old Jessie Thomas of Waterbury and 58-year-old Jack Maceira of Naugatuck.
