NAUGATUCK— Robert Joseph Toth, 69, of Naugatuck, formerly of Fairfield, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on May 18, 1948, son of Angelina Sisko Toth of Seymour and the late Joseph L. Toth.

Bob was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School of Fairfield, Class of 1966. He was formerly employed as a computer operator at Dictaphone Corp of Bridgeport and Glyco Corp of Norwalk. Bob loved music, especially the oldies and enjoyed working with wood. He was a sports enthusiast, was an avid New York Mets, Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears fan and loved sports cars. Bob will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts.

His loving family in addition to his mother, Angelina, includes his daughter, Jennifer Terifay (Alexander) of Ansonia; his brother, Joseph G. Toth (Lisbeth) of Seymour; his sister, Gail T. Judson (David B.) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Emalie Terifay of Ansonia; his niece, Katharine Toth of Bellcamp, Md.; his nephew, Joseph R. Toth of Seymour; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Prayer Service in Celebration of Bob’s Life will be offered on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (Route 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour, with Rev. James Sullivan, Pastor of the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia, officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home from 4 until 7 p.m. Interment in the family plot at Mountain Meadows Cemetery in Seymour will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Bob may be made to the American Cancer Society through the funeral home.
