NAUGATUCK — Patricia Owens, 87, wife of the late James Joseph Owens, Jr. passed away on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital with family by her side.
Patricia was born in Fort Riley, Kan. on Sept. 1, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Morgan) Alexander.
Patricia grew up in Charleston, S.C. and moved to Naugatuck after her marriage. She enjoyed bingo and spending time with family and friends. She had worked for many years at Naugatuck Glass Company.
She is survived by her son, Joseph L. Owens; husband, Paul Plocha, and her daughter, Catherine R. Owens, both of Naugatuck.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. There are no calling hours.
