Donations sought to help families in need

NAUGATUCK — A 6-year-old parishioner at Renewed Living Prayer Ministry is collecting donations to benefit families in need.

Grace Paglia is conducting a food, toy and clothing drive through Christmas. She started prior to Thanksgiving and raised enough to donate three full Thanksgiving meals to the Naugatuck Ecumenical Food Bank.

She is seeking donations of nonperishable food and money to buy meal kits, which cost $30 each. Donations can be dropped off at Monro Muffler Brake & Service, 774 Rubber Ave., from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Those who bring items to donate should ask for Patrick. Donations can also be dropped off at Renewed Living Prayer Ministry, 197L Rubber Ave., on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., Saturdays at 10 a.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. For more information, call 203-558-3698.
