BEACON FALLS — Boy Scout Troop 104, Cub Scouts Pack 2010 and Girl Scouts in town are running their annual Scouting for Food event this month.
The scouts will drop off bags at homes in town between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Oct. 21. Residents are asked to fill the bags with non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the local food pantry. The bags will be picked up after 8 a.m. on Oct. 28.
Residents who don’t get a bag dropped off at their house can drop off donations at the Beacon Falls Library, 10 Maple Ave., during normal hours or St. Michael Church, 25 Maple Ave., on Oct. 28 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.
