To the editor,
I participated in the rehab program in Beacon Falls administered by Lisa Low Associates in 2015 and was able to get many upgrades to my home with new energy-efficient windows, electrical upgrades, a new garage door and new front steps without burdening my fixed income with a hefty loan to pay. Incidental out-of-pocket costs included the lead inspection, purchasing additional smoke/CO2 detectors for each bed room and filing fees at Town Hall.
I highly recommend this program to homeowners who need repairs but cannot afford them on a senior’s fixed income. I was so satisfied with the outcome of my professional contractor that I have applied this year for more rehab tasks.
