Suspects charged in laundromat theft

NAUGATUCK — Police charged two Bristol men Tuesday with stealing over $500 from a laundromat on New Haven Road.

James Giuliano, 36, and Randolph Lukos, 29, both of 135 Shawn Drive, Bristol, were arrested on warrants in connection with the theft that took place on Aug. 19. Police said surveillance footage from the laundromat showed the men using a tool to break into coin machines.

Police charged both men with unlawful entry into coin machine, fifth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit with unlawful entry into coin machine and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny. They were released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and are scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Sept. 6.
