Whittemore Library featuring local artist

NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library will feature the artwork of Naugatuck resident Pam Blasavage during August.

Blasavage works in watercolor, mixed media, and pencil to create animal portraits, a press release stated. Blasavage has studied with several artists but remains largely self-taught, preferring to work from photographs, the release stated.

The exhibit can be viewed at the library, 243 Church St., during normal business hours. For more information, call 203-729-4591.
