NAUGATUCK — The 3rd annual NEF and NHS Soccer Invitational will tee off Aug. 19 at Hop Brook Golf Course.
The golf tournament will benefit the Naugatuck Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides grants to fund programs in borough schools that aren’t funded though the annual budget, and the Naugatuck High School girls and boys soccer teams. This year’s honoree is attorney Kevin McSherry.
The cost is $100 for an individual player and includes lunch and dinner. The invitational tees off at 12 p.m. with registration and lunch at 11 a.m. There is a limit of 72 golfers.
