Frances K. (Jascorowski) Zembrzuski

SOUTHINGTON — Frances K. (Jascorowski) Zembrzuski, 95, formerly of Waterbury and widow of Walter B. Zembrzuski, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday June 15, 2017.

Mrs. Zembrzuski was born in Waterbury on Oct. 16, 1921, daughter of the late Kazimierz and Regina (Lichwala) Jascorowski. A longtime resident of Waterbury, she graduated from Wilby High School. Frances was a 20 plus year employee at Howland Hughes where she managed the Fabric department. She had also worked at Oasis (G. Fox) and retired from Bendix Company. Frances volunteered for the American Red Cross and enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Walter Zembrzuski and his wife, Darlene, of Wolcott, Mark Zembrzuski and his wife, Cora, of North Haven, and Susan Narus and her husband, Richard, of Southington; her seven grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Frances was predeceased by her sister, Helen Szymanski.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald-Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main St., Naugatuck, to Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
