NAUGATUCK — Hop Brook Elementary School won this year’s annual “Bag It Up For Goodwill Donation Challenge.”
The challenge, which is run by the Goodwill of Western & Northern Connecticut, ran throughout April. It encouraged local students to donate items to Goodwill. Hop Brook Elementary donated the top number with 35,060 items.
For being the winner, Hop Brook will get a live performance from American Idol winner Nick Fradiani, $1,000 in cash and NoRA Cupcakes for the entire student body. The date of the concert is to be determined.
