PROSPECT — The Prospect Library will feature the artwork of Alexa Fermeglia in May.
Fermeglia, a Prospect native, graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2013 with a B.S. in art education, a press release stated. She is an art teacher in Region 7 in Winsted and creates pieces in her spare time. Her works range from realistic depictions of wildlife to dream-like images combining cosmic representations with everyday scenery, the release stated.
The art can be viewed during regular hours at the library, 17 Center St. For more information, call 203-758-3001.
