NAUGATUCK — Deryl G. Dunnuck, 91, the husband of Ann (Velich) Dunnuck, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at Wolcott View Manor.
Deryl was born on April 19, 1925 in Indianapolis, Ind., the son of the late Robert and Ilva (Detweiler) Dunnuck. Deryl worked as a service manager for Remington Rand and as the warehouse manager for Perkin Elmer in Danbury, before his retirement. Deryl was a proud World War II, United States Army veteran. He was stationed in the Philippines during the war.
In addition to his wife Ann, Deryl is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Luann Dunnuck; his daughter, Cheryl Newland; his five grandchildren and his seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will be in the Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017.
