Library announces art exhibit

NAUGATUCK — The Whittemore Library is featuring the art of Naugatuck resident Daniel Crane this month.

Crane received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in studio art from Southern Connecticut State University, where he studied drawing, painting, and sculpture, and has been painting for over 40 years, a press release stated. His current works deal with surrealistic and spiritual themes, which he hopes will “inspire mystery and awe” in the viewer, the release stated.  Many of his works are inspired by his dreams and his own spiritual experiences.

The exhibit can be at the library, 243 Church St., during normal hours. For more information, call 203-729-4591.
