Obituary: Eileen L. Pineau

CLERMONT, Fla. — Eileen L. Pineau, 74, formerly of Naugatuck, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 15, 2016. She was the wife of Robert Pineau.

Originally from Connecticut, Eileen worked for the Department of Defense as a quality production manager on the Black Hawk line at Sikorsky Aircraft. She was an avid reader and, while still working, Eileen also volunteered with a local literacy program to help adults learn to read and get their GEDs. Eileen and her husband of 57 years, Bob retired to Clermont, Fla., in 2004 to enjoy the warm weather.

Besides her husband, Eileen is survived by her son, Robert Pineau II and daughter-in-law, Leah Faraci-Pineau; her daughter, Denise Figueroa and son-in-law, Eduardo Figueroa; three granddaughters, Melissa Foxx, Jessica Foxx , Amanda Foxx and future grandson-in-law, Gilbert Rivera; as well as her five great-grandchildren, Meadow and Sylvio DeStefano, and Paul and Cayla Blatchley, Raymond Zimmer; her sister Madelyn Novitski and her brother-in-law, Charles Novitski; her sister, Veronica Savage and brother-in-law, Fred Savage, and her extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandson, Steven Foxx.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements.
